Dr. David Chamberlain, MD

Dr. Chamberlain is a specialist physician trained to apply scientific knowledge and clinical experience to the diagnosis, treatment, and care of adults. He provides comprehensive services from the promotion of health and wellness to palliative care. Dr. Chamberlain manages acute illness, as well as severe chronic disease, and is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of complex multi-system disorders. Dr. Chamberlain has been in private practice in Butte, Montana since 2000. His practice also includes clinical research and teaching medical students. Additionally, he provides inpatient hospitalization services and has been a speaker at The American College of Physicians conference in Big Sky, Montana.

Friends acknowledge that Dr. Chamberlain has a beautiful fly cast but question his claim to have never exaggerated the size or number of fish caught. When not on the rivers he is often found mountain biking, climbing Butte’s granite crags, or cutting powder on the backside.

Dr. Cornell is an Internal Medicine physician who provides services to patients 18 years old and older. He was born and raised in Butte, Montana. Immediately following his graduation from Butte High School, Dr. Cornell enlisted in the U.S. Army as a light infantryman. Dr. Cornell returned to active duty as a commissioned officer and completed his Internal Medicine residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. After serving as the Chief of Medical Residents, he practiced adult primary care and hospital medicine at Evans Army Community Hospital in Fort Carson, CO. He returned to civilian life in 2017 and moved back to Butte. Prior to joining the Montana Health Centers team, he worked as a primary care physician at the Veteran’s Health Administration clinic in Helena, MT.

Dr. Cornell believes in patient centered medical care and is a strong proponent of patient education and preventative medicine.
