What to Expect

  • All patients coming to an off-site health screening event will be asked COVID screening questions and have their temperature taken.  If you have contact with anyone with a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 and/or are running a temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or greater, PLEASE do not attend the health screening.  Contact CareHere so your appointment can be rescheduled.  Answer the COVID screening questions honestly.  They are in place to reduce exposure and allow us to continue the health screening events.
  • Patients must bring their own face mask and wear it into the screening location. Due to personal protective equipment (PPE) shortages, this is crucial. If you cannot gain access to a face mask, please let the health center know prior to arriving for your appointment.
  • Only patients will be allowed to enter the screening site - family members or other guests will not be permitted if not necessary.
  • Waiting areas are limited to 2-3 patients at one time. If more than 3 patients are waiting to be seen, excess patients will be requested to wait in their vehicle until their turn.  Once inside the off-site screening event, please remember to maintain at least 6 feet of distance from others if possible.
  • Screening staff will draw your blood, do a height and weight measurement, calculate your BMI, and take your blood pressure.
  • You may request that staff measure your waist circumference. This measurement is optional. Visit the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute website for more information on what waist circumference and BMI tell you about your health.
  • Health screenings are provided in a private, comfortable environment. If you have any concerns, please communicate them to the health screening staff when you check in.
  • Health screenings take about 20 minutes.
