Denise Huey636205295356069575

Denise Huey, RN/BHC, serves as both a Nurse Health Coach as well as a Behavioral Health Coach.  She believes achieving strong physical well-being through diet and exercise is only half of the battle. Shame, judgment, and self-criticism are often used to “motivate” weight loss, lower cholesterol, and stabilize blood sugars or blood pressure. These hurtful emotions can keep real change from happening.

As a nurse for over 30 years, Denise’s experience working with patients in a variety of medical fields has given her the knowledge to assist CareHere patients with their medical questions and needs.  As a Master’s-trained Social Worker, she provides guidance and education for her patients to recognize the need of living a whole-hearted life through connecting with themselves first; and ultimately their families, friends, and co-workers.

Denise offers her understanding with issues such as grief, addictions, and codependency recovery, as well as stress, anxiety, and depression management.  She provides information to link and connect patients with their Employee Assistance Program (EAP), assists in the development of positive coping skills, and offers support to those interested in learning the importance of self-care in order to live a fuller, richer life.
