Physician Assistant:

Douglas Dalton, PA

Doug Dalton is a former native of Orchard Park, New York however calls Montana ‘home’. Doug originally graduated from University of Buffalo with a B.S. in Statistics and had plans to become an actuary. He was drawn to chiropractic medicine after involvement in a horrific automobile accident shortly after receiving his undergraduate degree; Doug attributes chiropractic to his speedy recovery and chose to pursue a career in alternative medicine. Doug received his Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Logan College in 1994. Upon graduation, he started his own practice in St. Louis, Missouri, however he always dreamed of moving to Montana. In 1997 he finally moved to Montana where he worked as a chiropractor in Billings and Belgrade. During his career as a chiropractor, he began to desire the ability to help his patients even more. Doug enrolled in Daemen College in New York to pursue his Masters in Physician Assistant. After graduation, while still living in New York, he practiced for one year in orthopedic spinal surgery. Doug yearned to return to Montana where he fell in love with the landscapes, friendly people, and the access to hunting and fishing – a passion of his. Doug returned ‘home’ and has been practicing family medicine and same day care for the past 8 years in Miles City.

Doug and his wife, Tamber, an RN, together, have 4 children: Douglas – 21, Marissa – 20, Joseph – 15 and Marshall – 14. Doug’s daughter, Marissa, is currently attending her first year of college at D’Youville College in New York, where she is pursuing her BS in Nursing.

Aside from avidly enjoying the outdoors – hunting, fishing and hiking, Doug also enjoys gardening and canning vegetables every summer. Recently, he and his family moved to Kinsey where he enjoys caring for his large flock of chickens and turkeys, 6 horses, several pigs, 3 dogs and a plethora of cats.

Doug looks forward assisting with your healthcare needs!
